Biography

Senior Season - 2011
Aaronson played in all 16 games as a senior, coming off the bench in all but two of them to wreak havoc on the right side of opposing defenses. He used his track speed to beat defenders constantly, and his efforts resulted in two goals on 26 shots. Aaronson has one game-winning goal, scoring in the Harvard game to lead the  Big Red to a 3-1 victory. Aaronson concludes his Cornell soccer career with 47 games played, nearly 2,000 career minutes and 22 points over three seasons.

Junior Season - 2010
Aaronson provided a spark off the bench at forward for the Big Red, using his speed to create problems for opposing defenses. He finished the season with three goals and two assists for eight points, appearing in 14 of the 17 games and earning a pair of starts. Aaronson scored his first goal of the year in the draw with New Hampshire on Sept. 10, and later scored the game-winner in the victory against Saint Joseph's on Sept. 16. He collected an assist on the lone goal of the game in a win against Canisius on Sept. 19, and again had back-to-back games with at least one point, scoring the Big Red's goal in a 1-1 draw with Harvard on Oct. 9 and collecting an assist three days later in the win over Colgate.

Sophomore Season - 2009
Aaronson was the surprise of the season in 2009, joining the team after spending the 2008 season with the Cornell track and field program as a sprinter, and his pace paid dividends on the soccer field as well. Aaronson finished second on the team in scoring with 10 points, while his four goals were the second-highest tally on the roster. Aaronson made his debut off the bench on Sept. 5 in the season opener against Syracuse, and picked up his first career goal in the 1-0 victory against Fairleigh Dickinson. Aaronson then found himself in the starting lineup for the first time in his career in against Harvard, and contributed an assist in the draw against the nationally ranked Crimson. Aaronson then scored goals in back-to-back games on Oct. 13 against Colgate and Oct. 14 against Yale, and capped his season with an assist in the season finale against Columbia on Nov. 13.
