Joe Schneck

Joe Schneck is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Cornell men’s soccer program. Schneck served as an interim assistant coach during the 2006 season before being named to the position full-time in December of 2006. The Mt. Laurel, N.J., native is a 2004 graduate of The College of New Jersey.

In the summer of 2008, Schneck was awarded an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). He also currently coaches the Under-14 team for TC United.
Schneck spent the 2005 season as a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater while he pursued his master’s degree in athletic administration at the institution.

A four-year letterman with the Lions, Schneck earned several honors as a member of the men’s soccer team at TCNJ. As a senior, he earned a spot on the 2003 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) – Adidas Metro Regional All-America honorable mention team.

A CoSIDA Academic All-District II College Division second team honoree, Schneck was the Lions’ co-captain during his senior season and collected 49 points in 74 games played on 17 goals and 15 assists. A Dean’s List Student, he was also a four-time TCNJ scholar-athlete and the 2004 recipient of the Dr. Harold Eickhoff Outstanding Senior Scholar-Athlete Award as the top senior male scholar-athlete.
