AT CORNELL
Peters joined the Big Red coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in 2022. Since then, he has aided in the Big Red's success and development.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
LaMarr Peters served as an assistant coach for the Red Dragon men’s soccer program from 2016-20.
 
Peters also served as the director of coaching of the TC Waza Academy and high school soccer color analyst for ESPN 1160 in Ithaca. Peters served a stint as head coach at Triton College in River Grove, Ill., and as an assistant coach at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Mich. While at Schoolcraft, the program twice qualified for the junior college championships, finishing sixth nationally both seasons.

From 2007-11, Peters was the head coach of the girls varsity soccer team at Lansing High. He led the team to five league and division titles, four sectional championships and two regional finals.

PLAYING EXPERIENCE
Peters was a three-year starter at Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., helping lead the team to three NCAA Div. II playoff berths including an appearance in the national championship game in 1994. Following college, Peters competed professionally for the Michigan Bucks, Eastern Shore Sharks, Detroit Rockers and Windsor Borderstars.
