Biography

At Cornell
After learning under upperclassmen defenders as a freshman, Marks saw more playing time as a sophomore and became a regular starter as a junior. During his junior season, he recorded two assists, including picking up an assist on the game-winning goal in the Big Red[apos]s 2-1 upset win over Penn. This season, he steps into the role of co-captain and will anchor the Cornell defense.

At Lakeridge
Marks earned four letters and served as captain with his twin brother, Tom, for two seasons at Lakeridge High School. An all-league first-team selection as a senior, Marks was also an all-state second team pick in 2002 as Lakeridge claimed the league championship. He was the captain and MVP of his club soccer team, the Lake Oswego Arsenal, and was in Oregon[apos]s Olympic Development Program pool in 1997.

Personal
Daniel Proctor Marks is the son of Robert and Rebecca Marks. He has an older brother, Joe, who played soccer for Gonzaga University and the Spokane Shadow of the USL. His twin brother, Tom, is also a member of the Cornell soccer team. He also has an older sister and two younger twin brothers along with a younger sister. He is enrolled in Cornell[apos]s College of Engineering.
