As a senior (2016-17)
• Took sixth place at NCAAs for his second consecutive All-America finish.
• Became a two-time EIWA champion and four-time finalist.
• Qualified for NCAAs for the fourth straight year.
• Posted a career record of 83-20 record, including 14-1 at Easterns.
• Earned a first round fall at EIWAs in 15 seconds over Casey Mitchell of Sacred Heart, Cornell’s fastest-ever fall at the Eastern Championships.

As a junior (2015-16)
• Placed fourth at the NCAA Championships at 157 pounds to earn his first All-America honor.
• Won four straight matches against NCAA seeded wrestlers en route to the third place match, including three wins over wrestlers in the top seven.
• Won by fall over Oklahoma State's Joseph Smith in the quarterfinals.
• Won his first Eastern title in 2016 with an 8-3 victory over No. 14 John Boyle of American.
• Has posted a 72-16 career record, including 29-1 in dual meet competition and 10-1 at the EIWA meet.
• Was 19-3 on the season after missing a majority of the campaign rehabbing from an injury.
• Was a perfect 8-0 against EIWA opponents.
• Was 10-2 against NCAA qualifiers, including an 8-4 decision over No. 6 Joe Smith of Oklahoma State during a dual.
• Finished third at the Shorty Hitchcock Invitational, going 5-1 overall.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
Wrestling

• A unanimous first-team All-Ivy League selection and NCAA qualifier after going 21-4 overall, including 5-0 vs. Ivy League foes and 13-0 in dual meets (25-1 for his career).
• Automatic NCAA qualifier was the EIWA runner-up after medically defaulting out of the finals.
Was 2-2 at the national championships, falling a match shy of the All-American round after a narrow 7-6 loss to No. 4 Nick Sulzer of Virginia.
• Before the injury, Palacio had earned two falls and avenged one of his two losses in the regular season with a 5-3 victory over NCAA qualifier Coleman Gracey of Army in the semifinals.
• Entered the NCAA championships with a 14-match win streak, with four of those wins coming against qualifiers and eight coming by way of bonus points.
• Was a perfect 4-0 as part of the National Duals squad, including earning a tech fall over No. 17 Nicholas Wanzek of Minnesota and a 5-4 decision over No. 9 Nick Moore of Iowa.
• Missed the first half of the season after competing for the Cornell men’s soccer team.
• The two sport standout was a solid contributor to the men’s soccer team in the fall.
• After winning a spot on the squad with a strong preseason, he went on to appear in 15 contests – including 14 starts – for the 10-6-1 Big Red squad.
• Palacio brought a high-level of pace and physicality to the Cornell frontline, wearing down opponent defenses with his pressure.
• He finished the year with two shots on goal in 224 minutes played.
• Started for Cornell in a 0-0 draw against No. 2 Louisville.
Soccer
The two sport standout was a solid contributor to the men’s soccer team in 2014. After winning a spot on the squad with a strong preseason, he went on to appear in 15 contests – including 14 starts – for the Big Red in 2014. He brought a high-level of pace and physicality to the Cornell frontline, wearing down opponent defenses with his pressure. He finished the year with two shots on goal in 224 minutes played.

As a freshman (2013-14)
• Palacio was a unanimous first-team All-Ivy League selection and a EIWA runner-up at 165 pounds as a freshman.
• He posted a 32-9 overall record, including a team-best 12-1 in dual meets and 7-0 against Ivy competitors.
• Palacio advanced to the All-America round at NCAAs, knocking off fifth-seeded Nick Moore of Iowa by an 8-1 decision along the way.
• Palacio finished third at the New York State Intercollegiates and sixth at both the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and the Southern Scuffle.
• He went 22-4 in the 2014 calendar year with three of his four losses coming to wrestlers ranked in the top eight nationally and the other coming to a top 20 wrestler in sudden victory.

Prior to Cornell
• A New York state champion and three-time placewinner, Palacio was a top 100 recruit as a senior.
• A multiple-time All-American at the NHSCA Nationals and a FILA junior and senior Freestyle national champion, Palacio wrestled in the New York vs. New Jersey All-Star match, pinning the New Jersey state champion.

Personal
• Dylan Palacio is the son of Leo and Alex Palacio and has a brother and sister.
• His father and brother, Michael, both played pro soccer, and his uncle, Al, was an NCAA wrestling finalist.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
