As a junior (2021)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a sophomore (2020)

• Hit .370, finishing third on the team in batting average alongside 10 hits and four walks.
• Second on the team in extra-base hits with four, on three doubles and one home run.
• Made nine starts for the Big Red during a shortened season.
 

As a freshman (2019)

• Hit .252 with five doubles, five home runs and 14 RBI in 46 starts (44 at third base).
• Upped her average to .286 with two homers and nine RBI in Ivy League games.
• Had five multi-hit games and a pair of multi-RBI contests.
• Hit a grand slam against Penn.
• Also homered against Binghamton, Mount St. Mary's, Ithaca College and Princeton.
• Had a pair of hits against Detroit Mercy, Manhattan, Binghamton, Yale and Princeton.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Was part of a pair of state championship teams at Lakeland Christian School.
• Batted .395 for her varsity career, including .468 as a senior.
• Was elected team captain twice, earning all-academic team honors both seasons.
• She also lettered in basketball.
 

Personal

• Emily Ryan McKinney is the daughter of Mike and Melissa McKinney.
• She is enrolled in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
