Second Team All-Ivy (2016)

As a Senior (2019)

• Dealt with injuries as a senior, but still played in 15 games, starting in eight.
• Scored two goals and posted three assists to finish with seven points.

As a Junior (2018)

• Appeared in all 17 games, notching two starts for the Big Red in his junior campaign.
• Finished the season with three goals.
• His top performance came against Niagara on Sept. 21 when he scored two goals, including the game-winner.
• One of six members of the squad to play in all 17 games.

As a Sophomore (2017)

• Once again was a big factor in Cornell’s offensive scheme, recording seven points on the season from three goals and one assist.
• Was also tied for first on the team with eight shots on goal and third overall in shots with 20.
• Played in 16 matches over the duration of the year – earning starts in 15 of them – to total 906 minutes spent on the pitch.
• His first goal of the year came late in the season opener against Incarnate Word (9/1) to send the game to overtime.
• Also notched the game-opening goal versus Lafayette (9/10) and the game winner against Harvard (10/7).
• His lone assist of the season was the secondary assist that led to the game winner versus St. Francis Brooklyn.

As a Freshman (2016)

• Earned second team All-Ivy accolades in his first season for the Big Red, seeing significant time up top and playing a key role in the Cornell offense.
• Played in all 17 games and started the last 14 matches.
• Finished the season with two goals and one assist for five points and led the team in shots (35) and shots on goal (18).
• Against Penn on Oct. 2, played 103 minutes and attempted seven shots, with three of them going on frame.
• On eight occasions, logged more than 69 minutes and finished with 1,161 total, the top mark amongst non-defenders. 
• Earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 26 after becoming the first player all season to score first against then-ranked No. 2 Syracuse. 

Before Cornell

• A two-year captain at St. Paul’s School, was named the St. Paul’s XI Player of the Year for the 2015-16 season.
• Helped lead the team to a Southern Lent Term League championship in the 2014-15 season and a runner-up finish the following year.
• In addition, was tabbed to the Olympic Development Program Europe State Team and captained his club team, Pro Potential Academy, to a second-place finish in the Harrow Youth Football League Premier Division.
• Also played two years of rugby and ran track for two years at St. Paul’s.
 

Personal

• George Finlay Francis Pedlow is the son of Joe and Laura Pedlow.
• He has a younger brother, Harry, and three older sisters, Mikaela, Sophia and Colleen.
• His father, Joe, was a wrestler at Connecticut.
• Mikaela graduated from Penn and Sophia graduated from Dartmouth.
• His cousin, Lucy Pedlow ’20, is a member of the women’s lacrosse team.
• He is enrolled in the SC Johnson College of Business.
