As a Freshman (2013)
Malkowski appeared in two games for Cornell in his first season, earning a start against Colgate on Oct. 15. Although he came to the Big Red as a defender, he played midfield and forward in 2013. 

Before Cornell
Malkowski attended Shattuck-St. Mary's School in Faribault, Minn., and played for its U.S. Development Academy teams for the past two seasons. In 2011-2012, he played in 17 games, starting in 13 of them and helping his team to a 13-5-6 record. His efforts helped his club to a second-place finish in the division while advancing to the Academy playoffs in Dallas. He was also a member of Indiana’s ODP team from 2007 to 2011 and was selected as part of the Region II pool in 2009.

Personal
Hollis Jacob Malkowski is the son of Ron and Julie Malkowski. He has a younger brother, Tucker.
