As a senior (2021)

• Named to the All-Ivy second-team.
• Appeared and started in 14 games.
• Co-captain of the team in his final season.
• Posted one goal and two assists for four points.
• Scored the insurance goal in the Big Red’s victory over Colgate on Oct. 12.
• Assisted on scores against Harvard and Brown.
• Attempted eight shots, landing three on goal.
 

As a junior (2020)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a sophomore (2019)

• Appeared in 16 games and made 15 starts in his sophomore season.
• Assisted on a pair of goals, helping the Big Red to a double-overtime tie against Princeton.

As a freshman (2018)

• Appeared in 16 games and made 11 starts in his freshman campaign.
• Scored one goal against Dartmouth on Nov. 3.
• Led the team in minutes played this season with 1278 on the pitch.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Played four years of varsity soccer at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School in Faribault, Minnesota.
• Served as a U17 co-captain in 2016-17 and U19 co-captain in 2017-18 for his club team.
• A member of the High Honor Roll all four years of high school, he earned his school’s History Award, English Award and Language Award for being the top student in each subject.
• Kagen also earned ScholarShift Recognition, which is awarded to those with most involved and productive extracurricular projects.
 

Personal

• Jonah Chase Kagen is the son of Alan and Kristin Hagen and he has one older sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
