At Syracuse and Instituto Tecncio Central
Rodriguez made appearances in 34 contests during his two years with the Orange, making a total of 14 starts. He was a two-time Big East academic all-star and scored his first collegiate point in a match against Boston College. Prior to Syracuse, Rodriguez attended Instituto Tecnico Central in his native Colombia and played for Club Deportivo Los Millonarios, the country[apos]s top professional club team.

Personal
Jorge Rodriguez is the son of Oswaldo Rodriguez and Luzmila Tobon. He becomes the third Big Red soccer player from his family, joining brothers Oswaldo and Carlos. Jorge is enrolled in Cornell[apos]s College of Engineering.
