As a Senior (2013)
In addition to anchoring the Big Red defense and serving as one of the team's captains in 2013, Slogic also led the team in scoring with three goals and two assists for eight points. He earned numerous honors in his final season including: Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Ivy, First Team All-Northeast Region and Capital One Academic All-District. He was also named to the MAC Hermann Watch List for the second consecutive season and was selected as a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award in the preseason. He tallied the game-winning goal in the team's 1-0 win at Buffalo on Sept. 27 and the game-tying goal against Hartwick on Sept. 8 to force overtime. He also scored against Princeton. Slogic was the only player to start all 17 games for Cornell in 2013, and was never subbed out - ending his career with a consecutive minutes streak of 5,123 dating back to Oct. 2010.Â
As a Junior (2012)
Slogic continued to be the heart of Cornell’s defense, guarding the toughest forwards on opposing rosters and stopping them cold. Slogic scored two goals as well during his junior campaign, both on headers, and added one assist for another strong offensive season from a back-line player. Always dangerous with a header, Slogic was named to the All-Ivy First Team for the second consecutive season. He also earned a nomination to the Hermann Trophy watch list at the beginning of the year.
As a Sophomore (2011)
Slogic, the tallest player on the team at 6-foot-5, used his height to tie for second on the team with three goals. He was a constant presence on corner kicks and throw-ins near the goal, using his height to create havoc around opposing goalkeepers. But more important than his offense was his defense, as he was part of a team that led the Ivy League with just 13 goals allowed in 16 games. Slogic played every minute of every game for Cornell, never substituting out once.
As a Freshman (2010)
Slogic earned honorable mention All-Ivy League accolades in his first season, seeing significant time in the center of the back line that allowed just 16 goals in the team's 17 games. He collected on assist on the season, getting a touch on the ball for the game-winning goal against Hartwick on Sept. 6 in his first collegiate appearance. He then started the following game against New Hampshire and was a mainstay in the opening 11 for the remainder of the season.
Before Cornell
Slogic was an all-state, all-region and All-American scholar as a senior while also earning Colorado Defensive Player of the Year honors. He was a two-time all-state player along with being a league player of the year. He was also selected to his school's soccer hall of fame. Slogic played club soccer with the Colorado Rapids Development Academy, serving as team captain and was the Adidas Colorado MVP in 2007.
