As a Senior (2019)

• Did not appear due to injury.

As a Junior (2018)

• Appeared in nine games this season and made six starts.
• Attempted two shots the whole season, one of which was on goal.

As a Sophomore (2017)

• Appeared in three games during his sophomore season, playing a total of 66 minutes and recording one shot at SMU (9/3).

As a Freshman (2016)

• Proved to be a valuable contributor to the Big Red backline during his inaugural season, making seven starts in 12 appearances at right back.
• Played the full 90 minutes in six games and at least 70 minutes in three other games.
• Earned his first career point with an assist on George Pedlow's goal against Syracuse on Sept. 20,  -- a goal that marked the first time the then-ranked No. 2 Orange was scored upon first in a game in 2016.
• Finished the season with two shot attempts and one shot on goal.

Before Cornell

• Comes to Cornell after a successful career with Real Colorado of the U.S. Development Academy, captaining the team his last three years.
• In addition, played a year of soccer for Mountain Vista High School, earning First-Team Honorable Mention.
 

Personal

• Riley John Adams is the son of Kirk and Sally Adams.
• He has two older sisters, Mariel and Kelsey, and a younger sister, Avery.
• His father is a graduate of Columbia University.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
