Biography

As a Sophomore (2013)
Shettigar did not play for Cornell during his sophomore season due to injury. 

As a Freshman (2012)
Shettigar played in five games for Cornell as a freshman, starting against Wofford on Sept. 16.

Before Cornell
Shettigar played soccer in high school for four years, winning a letter each year. His team won district championships when he was a freshman and sophomore, and they were league champions during his junior season. As a senior, Shettigar led his outfit to a district championship and a regional finalist spot. He was named All-League, All-District, All-Region and All-State as a senior, a year when he was a team captain and team MVP.

Personal
Sanath Shettigar is the son of Jagadeesha and Jayashree Shettigar. He has an older brother, Amrith, and a younger sister, Shreya.
