Biography

Senior Season - 2011
Caldwell returned for a fifth year in 2011, contributing greatly to the team's midfield, often off the bench. He played in 14 of 16 games for Cornell, starting in two, and he tallied his assist in the Binghamton game on Sept. 21 on a goal by Stephen Reisert. On the play, Caldwell took a pass from Daniel Haber and immediately crossed the ball from left to right, where it landed on Reisert's head for the goal. Caldwell concluded his Cornell career with three goals, nine assists and 15 points.

Senior Season - 2010
Caldwell was injured during the summer prior to the season and missed the entire 2010 campaign.

Junior Season - 2009
Caldwell was a mainstay in the Cornell lineup as a junior, starting all 17 of the Big Red's matches. He finished the season ranked third on the team in scoring, collecting one goal and five assists for seven points. His five assists were one shy of Matt Bouraee's team-leading six. Caldwell got his season started right away, tallying an assist on the first goal of the season in the opener at Syracuse. He then added another on the game-winning goal at Hartwick two days later. Caldwell then scored the match-winner against St. Bonaventure on Sept. 13. He had another pair of strong matches in the scoring category later in the season, tallying two assists in the 3-1 win over Colgate on Oct. 13 and picking up another four days later against Yale in a 4-3 loss.

Sophomore Season - 2008
Caldwell started in 14 of the 16 games he appeared in, tallying a pair of goals on the year for four points. He scored the first goal of his career on Oct. 4 against Penn at Berman Field, then scored again 11 days later in a loss to Penn State, also at Berman Field.

Freshman Season - 2007
Caldwell appeared in 11 games off the bench for the Big Red as a freshman. He picked up an assist in his collegiate debut on Sept. 2 against IUPUI, as he assisted on Brian Kuritzky's third goal of the game. He later picked up an assist on Matt Bouraee's game-winner in the Big Red's 1-0 victory over Hartwick on Nov. 7 at Berman Field.

At Delbarton
An all-state honoree as a senior, Caldwell also earned first-team all-conference and all-county honors while serving as the team captain. He scored 12 goals and tallied a dozen assists last season for Delbarton, winning a Northern Hills Conference championship each season and a state crown in 2004. Caldwell, who attended the Cornell Soccer Academy in 2005 and 2006, played his club soccer with PDA Vieira, helping that side to a N.J. State Cup semifinal berth in 2006.

Personal
Scott H. Caldwell is the son of Robert and Lori Caldwell. His older sister, Allison, was a four-year letter winner on the women’s soccer team at Lehigh. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
