Biography

As a Senior (2013)
Despite missing four games due to injury in his final season, Reisert remained a key component in the Big Red midfield. A composed ball carrier and team's go-to man for service on set pieces, he saw action in 13 games in 2013. Reisert finished the season with four assists -- with one in games against Detroit, Hartwick, Princeton and Dartmouth. He also recorded 19 shots; nine on goal.

As a Junior (2012)
Reisert continued to play a large role in the Big Red offense and seemed to have a knack for coming through in important moments. His best game of the year -- the Nov. 3 contest against Dartmouth -- saw him score the game-tying goal in the first half and then assist on Tyler Regan’s game-winner in double overtime. He was named the Ivy League Player of the Week for that effort, and it helped him earn a spot on the All-Ivy Second Team at year’s end.

As a Sophomore (2011)
Reisert played a large role for Cornell in 2011, solidifying the team's midfield and gobbling up minutes. He played in 13 games, starting 11, and finished fourth on the team with seven points. He scored three goals -- good for second-most on the roster -- and added an assist in his breakout college season. Reisert was also a specialist on corner kicks, taking 18 of them for the Big Red as a sophomore.

As a Freshman (2010)
Resiert appeared in eight games for the Big Red as a freshman, earning a pair of starts in the midfield. He made his collegiate debut on Sept. 4 in the season opener at Long Island, then made his home debut two days later against Hartwick in a 3-2 victory. Reisert earned his first career appearance in the starting 11 on Oct. 19 in the Big Red's 1-0 loss to Lafayette and also started the home finale on Nov. 6 against Dartmouth.

Before Cornell
Reisert won all-league and all-section honors as a senior and was the most valuable player at Brown's summer camp. As a junior, he claimed all-league, all-section and all-county honorable mention honors and was named the team's most valuable player. Reisert also won camp most valuable player honors at Rutgers' camp in 2007 and was an all-league honorable mention player and a sectional champion as a sophomore. He played his club soccer with FC Westchester.

Personal
Stephen Andrew Reisert is the son of Richard and Mary Reisert and has an older sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
