As a Senior (2014)Conway appeared in all 17 fixtures – starting the last 15 – during the 2014 season. He was a strong two way player for the Big Red in the midfield, providing strong defensive cover while occasionally advancing into the attacking third. He tallied his lone assist on Sept. 27 in the Big Red’s 5-0 demolition of Buffalo. An excellent student, Conway was named to the Capital One Academic All-District Team, later earning Third Team Academic All-America honors.
As a Junior (2013)Conway played in six games for the Big Red as a junior, starting in three. He registered two shots on the season, one against Binghamton on Sept. 18, the other at St. Joseph's on Sept. 21.
As a Sophomore (2012)Conway saw action in three games for Cornell during his sophomore campaign, taking one shot against Hartwick on Sept. 25.
As a Freshman (2011)Conway saw action in two games as a freshman, playing in wins against Hofstra on Sept. 18 and Binghamton on Sept. 21.
Before CornellConway served as team captain of the Kansas 6A state championship team that finished the season ranked 12th in the nation by ESPNRise. He was a two-time first-team all-conference pick and once earned league honorable mention.
PersonalTyler Richard Conway is the son of Evan and Susan Conway and has a younger sister. His father is a 1988 graduate of Cornell University, and has had seven other relatives attend Cornell. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
