Before Cornell
Donica was a first-team all-league selection as a senior after earning second-team all-league honors as a junior. He served as team captain during his senior season and helped lead his high school team to a league championship. Donica played his club soccer with Ohio Elite of the US Soccer Development Academy.

Walter Roosevelt Fichtebaum Donica is the son of Carl and MaryBeth Donica and has a younger sister. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
