As a Senior (2011)
Ogden was a valuable forward in his final year with Cornell, coming into games with an offensive mindset. He played in all 16 games, starting four, and tallied an assist in a key Ivy League win against Yale on Oct. 15. He took 10 shots on the year, and Ogden completed his Cornell career with two goals and two assists for six points.
As a Junior (2010)
Ogden helped to provide an offensive presence for the Big Red in his first season at Cornell. He appeared in all 17 games, earning the start 12 times. Ogden made a huge impact early, scoring the game-winning goal in Cornell's comeback win over Hartwick on Sept. 6, and later tallied his first career assist on Sept. 16 against Saint Joseph's. He would later tally another goal, scoring an insurance tally against Colgate on Oct. 12.
Before Cornell
Ogden spent two seasons at Villanova before transferring to Cornell. As a sophomore, he appeared in 18 games, starting four times, and scored three goals for six points, and was named the Top Drawer Soccer, Philadelphia Soccer Six and Big East Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 19, scoring a pair of goals against DePaul. In his freshman season, he started once among his 13 appearances, scoring his first career goal in his collegiate debut. Prior to Villanova, he led his team to a state championship and was the New York Gatorade High School Player of the Year in 2007-08. A NSCAA All-American, he earned all-state honors as a senior and was the Section 1 player of the year and earned his school's Sportsperson of the Year award. Ogden played in the Red Bulls HS Cup at Giants Stadium in the summer of 2008 and was a three-time all-league and all-section selection. Throughout his career in high school, he scored 64 goals and picked up 39 assists, including 25 goals and 17 assists as a senior, when he scored the game-winning goal in both the state semi-final and the title game.
Personal
Will Lawrence Ogden is the son of Jay and Santhea Ogden and has an older brother and a younger brother. His great-uncle and grandfather are both Cornell alumni.
