Sophomore Season - 2010
Zahn made seven appearances for the Big Red in his second season, earning a pair of starts on the year. He made his debut on Sept. 10 against New Hampshire and collected his first start of the season on Oct. 19 against Lafayette. Zahn also found himself in the starting 11 for the Oct. 30 contest against Princeton.

Freshman Season - 2009
Zahn earned valuable playing time for the Big Red as a freshman, appearing in nine contests and making three starts. He started the season opener at Syracuse, and came off the bench six days later to pick up his first career point, garnering an assist in the 1-1 draw at Canisius. Zahn also found himself in the starting 11 in the Big Red's 2-1 win against St. Bonaventure and in the scoreless draw with Lafayette.

Before Cornell
Zahn won four CISAA provincial championships and two CAIS national championships while leading his school to a 62-4-6 record while at the school. He also played club soccer with the Woodbridge Soccer Club, winning two provincial club championship silver medals. He also played three years of rugby.

Personal
William Randall Bard Zahn is the son of Jeffrey and Catherine Zahn and has an older brother who graduated from Cornell in 2006. His grandfather, Wayne Zahn, played varsity football and basketball at Case Western Reserve and is a member of that school's athletic hall of fame. He is enrolled in the College of Architecture, Art and Planning.
