As a Senior (2014)Zagorski was the best statistical goalie in the Ivy League this season by a considerable margin in earning the Second Team All-Ivy recognition from the league following the season last month. He goes down as one of the greatest keepers in program history, as he set a single-season record with 10 clean sheets on the year. A consistent presence in net during his final two seasons, he finished tied for third all-time in career starts (29), eighth in games played (33) and eighth in minutes played (2,815) by Cornell keepers. As far as counting stats are concerned he was even more excellent, finishing his career ranked second all-time in goals against average (0.70) and third all-time in wins (17). He was also tabbed a NSCAA Third Team All-Region and NSCAA Scholar Third Team All-American at the conclusion of the year.
As a Junior (2013)After primarily serving as the backup his first two seasons, Zagorski stepped up as the starter for the Big Red and was stellar in the role. He finished 7-2-2 on the season in 11 appearances and allowed just seven goals for a goals-against average of 0.60, with the program's single-season record set by former teammate Rick Pflasterer in 2011. In his first game back after missing six games due to injury, he made a season-high seven saves in a 0-0 draw at Yale -- including two saves on a penalty attempt. At season's end, Zagorski earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy recognition.Â
As a Sophomore (2012)Zagorski saw time in two games as Rick Pflasterer’s primary backup. He played five minutes against Buffalo and eight minutes against Binghamton, making one save on a Bearcats shot and helping to complete the shutout.
As a Freshman (2011)Zagorski spent his freshman year as the backup to starter Rick Pflasterer, and at first he saw just nine minutes of action in a 4-0 win against Binghamton. But when Pflasterer went down with an injury late in the year, Zagorski got his first career start and played more than two full games total. He was named the Ivy League's Rookie of the Week for his five saves in the season finale against Dartmouth.
