Biography
At Cornell:
Amar Gupta saw a rise in the ranks last season, debuting at the No. 10 spot, but closing the season consistently playing in the No. 7 position. Coming off an 6-5 record, he hopes to continue to move up in the lineup.
At Bayview Glen:
Captain of his squash team at Bayview Glen School, Gupta was also a member of a regional soccer all-star team and was on the golf team for one season.
Personal:
Amar Gupta is the son of Ajay and Anita Gupta, and he has one younger brother, Arjun, who is also on the Big Red squash team. Gupta is enrolled in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and is majoring in applied economics and management.
