Competed exclusively as a skipper for the Big Red … helped the Big Red to a third-place finish out of nine boats at the David Lee Arnoff … contributed to the eighth-place finish out of 16 boats at the Stu Nelson … assisted in receiving ninth place out of 17 boats at the Susan Rogers Women’s Invite.    

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Katics competed for the University of Wisconsin sailing team as a freshman in 2022-23 ... sailed out of the Wayzata Yacht and White Bear Yacht Clubs ... was a four-year member of the sailing team competing as both skipper and crew at the Breck School ... served as team captain for two seasons ... attended Girls' National Invitationals in 2021 ... also competed in nordic skiing.

Maeve Gaffney Katics is the daughter of Rita O'Keeffe and John Katics ... her mother is a Cornell alumnae ... she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
