Biography

As a junior (2017-18)

• Had three victories among nine scoring matches from the bottom third of the order.
• Won season debut in three games Jan. 14 against an opponent from Hobart.
• Got the Big Red on the board with a three-game victory at No. 9 in what turned out to be a 6-3 upset Jan. 31 at Navy.
• Accounted for team's only point in Feb. 14 loss to Rochester, winning the No. 9 match in three.
 

As a sophomore (2016-17)

• Posted a 3-5 record from the bottom third of the order, notching his first collegiate victories in scoring matches against opponents from Williams and Western Ontario during the Cornell Round Robin.
• Final victory came against Hobart on Jan. 18.
 

As a freshman (2015-16)

• Made his collegiate debut on Jan. 23, where he dropped a match at the No. 6 position against an opponent from St. Lawrence.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Ranked as high as ninth in BU17 and 21st in BU19 by US Squash during his junior career.
• US Squash Scholar-Athlete in all four of his high school years.
• Member of the National Honor Society.
• Also competed on the baseball team at Chatham HS, where he was named the squad's Most Improved Player in 2014.
 

Personal

• Kenan Lee Ong is the son of Owh Kian Ong and Wing Ong, and he has an older brother.
• Aunt and cousin have also attended Cornell.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
