Biography

Junior Season — 2016-17
Hare did not appear in any matches.

Sophomore Season — 2015-16
Hare appeared in four matches over two weeks toward the end of the season, all from the No. 8 position. He won two of those matches, coming in non-league play against opponents from George Washington and Drexel.

Freshman Season — 2014-15
An injury limited Hare to just one match, where he dropped a three-set affair against Penn's Hayes Murphy from the No. 3 position on Feb. 6 in his collegiate debut.

Prior to Cornell
Hare joins the Big Red as one of the top players to come out of Israel, ranking fourth in the ISPO Israeli rankings in 2014. He won the silver medal in the ISPO Grand Master Tournament in 2014 and won two gold medals at the Maccabi Games in 2009 and 2013. From 2009-10, he was the top-ranked Under-19 player in Israel, and he was a member of the junior national team from 2006-10. He served in the Israeli Army for three years, where he was named an outstanding sportsman from 2010-13.

Personal
Liad Hare is the son of the Ivan and Bernice Hare, and he has a younger brother. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
