Biography

At Cornell:
A consistently strong player, McKay Claghorn helped lead the Big Red to a winning 10-7 record and a personal 12-5 mark (the team's best) last season. This season will be Claghorn's third season serving as co-captain for the Big Red.

At the Taft School:
Captain of his team at the Taft School, Claghorn was also a New England champion and a Founder's League All-Star. His team at the Taft School was second in New England throughout his career. He was also the captain of the lacrosse team, where he earned the Lance Odden Award as the team's most valuable player. He was selected to the All-Western New England Team, playing in the Senior All-Star Game his final season. He was also named to the All-Founders League for two consecutive seasons, while also earning a pair of letters in soccer.

Personal:
McKay Claghorn is the son of John and Peg Claghorn. He has an older brother and sister, along with a dog named Zula. Claghorn is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
