Biography
As a senior (2018-19)
• Did not compete in any scoring matches.
As a junior (2017-18)
• Appeared once in a scoring match, falling in three games at No. 8 in a Feb. 4 match against Yale.
As a sophomore (2016-17)
• Posted 4-7 record from lower four positions in the order, including a three-match sweep against opponents from Williams, Western Ontario and Dickinson in the season-opening Cornell Round Robin.
• Later rallied to defeat an opponent from Hobart in four sets on Jan. 18.
As a freshman (2015-16)
• Made collegiate debut on Feb. 14, cruising to a three-set victory from the No. 9 position against an opponent from Hobart.
Prior to Cornell
• One of top juniors in Ireland, obtaining the top ranking en route to national championships in BU15 (2012) and BU17 (2014).
• Captained Ireland's Under-17 national team in European Junior team championships, then later competed with the Under-19 team at the 2014 world championships.
• Ranked as high as eighth in the European Squash Federation rankings in 2012 and 2013.
• Runner-up at the Wales Junior Open in 2012 and Luxembourg Junior Open in 2013, also finishing third at the Belgium Junior Open in 2013.
• In 2014 and 2015, was the Westwood Leopardstown Men's Club Champion.
Personal
• Nikita Dmitry Gilevskiy is the son of Dmitry and Elena Gilevskiy, and he has one brother.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
