Biography
As a freshman (2019-20)
• Competed in eight meets for the Big Red during freshman campaign.
• Placed second in the 200-butterfly at the Zippy Invitational in a collegiate personal-best 1:49.56.
• Won the B Final of the 100-butterfly at the Zippy Invite, finishing ninth with a collegiate personal-best mark of 49.52.
• Notched his third collegiate personal-best of the Zippy Invitational in the 50-freestyle (21.68).
• Emerged victorious in the 200-butterfly, while finishing third in the 100-butterfly, in Cornell’s dual meet win over St. Bonaventure.
• Secured a top-five finish in the 200-butterfly in an Ivy League dual against Brown, placing fourth.
Prior to Cornell
• Runner-up in the 100 fly and 100 back at the MPSSAA State Championship.
• Runner-up in the 100 fly at the Washington Metro Championships.
• Competed on the club circuit for All Star Aquatics where he was a NCSA Junior Nationals finalist.
• Also named a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
Personal
• Alan Han Li is the son of Kevin Li and Beth Han and has one younger sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
