At Cornell
After earning the Hardest Worker Award on the team as a sophomore, Anker Fog was honored by being named a captain in his junior year.
Although battling an injury last year, Fog has established himself as being one of the best distance swimmers in the Ancient Eight, as he broke Big Red all-time records which still stand in both the 1,000 freestyle and 1650 freestyle at the Ivy championships in 2009. Also at the 2009 Ivies, his time in the 500 free was good enough for third place in the school record books.
At Haddonfield
Part of the 2004 state championship swim team at Haddonfield Memorial HS, Fog served as captain of his team for two years and received All-South Jersey honors.
Personal
Anker B. Fog is the son of Jens and Leslie Fog, and he has one older brother. He is enrolled in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
