At Cornell
Since arriving at Cornell, Itkowitz has made steady progress in his specialty, middle distance freestyle. He has scored points for the Big Red both his freshmen and sophomore years at the Ivy Championship meet in events ranging from the 200 free to the 1650 free. A consistent trainer and tough competitor, Itkowitz will look for a breakout season heading into his junior year. 

At New Rochelle HS
A 2010 U.S. Swimming Scholastic All-American, Itzkowitz was a three-time state qualifier and two-year team captain at New Rochelle HS. He was a six-year member of the swimming team and earned the school's Most Outstanding Athlete Award in the Winter of his senior year.

Personal
Benjamin Michael Itzkowitz is the son of David and Lisa Itzkowitz and has a younger brother and sister. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
