• Competed in seven meets, winning two events.
• Took first in the 50 free in the dual meet win over St. Bonaventure.
• Won the 100 free as Cornell won the Akron Zippy Invitational.
• Had nine top six individual efforts.
• Took third in the 100 free against Brown.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Won the state title in the 50 free as a senior at Onalaska HS.
• Was an all-state selection in both the 50 and 100 free.
• Named team MVP three times.
• Was under All-America consideration in the 50 free as a senior.
• Placed fifth in the 50 free at the 2016 YMCA National Championships.
 

Personal

• Calvin Addison Hulse is the son of Dr. Kurt Hulse, DDS, and Jeanne Hulse and has two older brothers.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
