Cornell University Athletics

As a sophomore (2017-18)

• Competed in two dual meets, diving in 1-meter competitions against both St. Bonaventure and Brown.
• Took third on the springboard in the final home meet of the season against Brown.
• Scored a season-best 257.24 against St. Bonaventure.
 

As a freshman (2016-17)

• Recognized as the diving team's MVP after a strong rookie season.
• Was the team's high scorer at the Ivy League Championship meet, including placing 10th at the Ivy League Championship meet.
• Placed 16th in the 3-meter at the Ivy meet.
• Finished second in the 1-meter in three consecutive dual meets late in the regular season.
 

Prior to Cornell

• A four-time league champion at Saint Mary's HS, Geundert was also a two-time state finalist.
• Four times was named most valuable male diver.
• Was a two-time sectional champion, on the junior varsity as a freshman and on the varsity as a senior.
• Named to NISCA Scholastic All-America team.
• Was a six-time junior zone qualifier and a regional champion on both the 1-meter and platform.
• Was a Junior Olympic age group finalist three times on the Delta Valley Divers.
 

Personal

• Carson Guendert is the son of Todd and Denise Guendert and has an older sister and younger brother.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
