At Cornell
Chris Keady returns for his senior campaign after being the team's best performer in the 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke events last year. His 1:48.62 in the 200 back at the Ivy championships earned him a seventh-place finish and was good for fifth all-time for the Big Red.
As well as the Ivy championships, Keady had many other good races in 2009-10, winning the 200 backstroke event vs. Princeton and Penn, Yale and Columbia, and Brown, in addition to winning the 200 freestyle vs. Brown.
Keady was a co-recipient of the swimming team's hardest worker award in 2009-10.
At Northville
Captain of the swim team at Northville HS, Chris Keady won both All-State and All-American honors on multiple occations.
Personal
Chris M. Keady is the son of Chris and Kathleen Keady, and he has two younger borthers and one younger sister. He is enrolled in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
