As a junior (2015-16)
Competed in six dual meets as a junior.
Won the 1-meter competition in dual meet wins over Binghamton and Colgate.
Placed second on the 1-meter springboard at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
Had five top three finishes in dual meet competition.

As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Godbay competed for the Big Red at the 2015 Ivy League Championships in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.
• Scored in both events, including placing 12th overall in the 1-meter with the eighth-highest championship score in school history (269.55).
• Won the 1-meter competition at the Bomber Invitational and against Colgate in a dual meet. 

As a freshman (2013-14)
• Godbay showed off strong potential as a freshman in 2013-14, making the Ivy League Championship lineup in both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions.
• He finished 23rd overall in the 1-meter (222.15) and 21st in the 3-meter (237.60), marks that sit just outside the top 10 all-time at Cornell.

Prior to Cornell
• Godbay was a sectional champion diver at Binghamton HS.
• A state finalist, he was named an academic all-star.

Personal
• Deyon Larry Jr. Godbay is the son of Larry Buie and Karen Godbay and has an older sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
