At Cornell
Eric Anderson returns for his junior season as one of Cornell's best performers in the longer races. He had the team's best time last season in both the 1,000 and 1650 freestyle and also had the team's second best time in the 200 backstroke (1:50.72), which was good for ninth all-time in the school's history. Highlights from the 2009-10 season for Anderson included wins in the 200 backstroke vs. Binghamton and Colgate and scoring valuable points at the Ivy championships in the same event.
At Northampton
A three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American at Northampton HS, Anderson served as captain of his team as a senior.
Personal
Eric R. Anderson is the son of Richard and Ann Anderson, and he has one younger sister.
