2023- 24 | JUNIOR SEASON
Hit the pool in six of Cornell's seven regular season meets and Ivy Championship ... opened the season helping Cornell win the 400 Medley Relay against St. Bonaventure with a squad-best 46.14 split as the anchor ... secured 26 individual points and was a member of three relay squads that combined for 156 points at the 2023 Zippy Invitational ... swam the opening leg of the Big Red's second place finish in the 800 Freestyle Relay and helped Cornell finish fourth overall in the 400 Medley Relay to grab its first Zippy Invite title since the 2019-20 season ... earned the top spot in the 100 Freestyle at Columbia with a time of 45.39 and guided the Big Red to consecutive runner-up finishes in the 400 Freestyle Relay at Yale and Columbia ... helped the Big Red set a new pool record of 2:55.97 as the third swimmer in the 400 Freestyle Relay ... stacked up 27 points at the Ivy Championships alongside his season-best swim in the 100 Freestyle (43.91) and had a team-best 43.50 split in the Big Red's fourth-place finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay. 

2022-23 l SOPHOMORE SEASON
Competed in all seven matches for the Big Red as well as the Zippy Invitational ... represented Cornell at the Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championship ... placed second against Yale in the 100-yard Freestyle with a time of 45.65 ... also against Yale, finished third in the 200-Yard Freestyle ... took home third in the 100-Yard Freestyle against Princeton and Penn ... earned a combined 61 points for Cornell at the Zippy Invitational from four top-25 finishes ... finished fifth in the 200-Yard Freestyle at the Zippy Invitational with a time of 1:38.20 ... also at Zippy, bought in 20-points from a ninth-place finish in the 100-Yard Freestyle ... helped his 400-Yard Freestyle Relay team to four top-three finishes, most notably taking second against Princeton and Penn ... assisted his 200-Yard Medley Relay team to three podium finishes including a second-place finish against St. Bonaventure.

2021-22 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed in all eight meets for the Big Red as well as the Ivy League Championship ... won the 100-Yard Freestyle against St. Bonaventure with a time of 47.16 ... took the second highest time in the 100-Yard breaststroke against Binghamton with a time of 57.59 ... secured a third-place finish against Yale in the 100-Yard Freestyle with a time of 47.14, his best time up to that point ... helped his team finish second against Brown in the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay with a team time of 3:04.39 ... led his relay team to a third-place finish against St. Bonaventure in the 200-Yard Medley Relay with a team time of 1:34.59 as well as a first place finish in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay with a team time of 1:04.31 ... took home 14 points for the Big Red in the Ivy League Championship when he placed 13th in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:38.35.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Three sport athlete in swimming, soccer, and track and field ... combined team 2020 KHSAA Champions in swimming ... 2019 KHSAA Quarter-Finalist in soccer ... KHSAA 4x800 meter relay runner up in track and field.

John "Jack" David Banks is the son of David Banks and Paula Bingham and has two sisters and one brother ... enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
