Cornell University Athletics

As a senior (2017-18)
• Scored in the 50 and 100 free, 100 butterfly at the Ivy League Championship.
• Consistently placed in the top three in dual meets in the sprint events.
• Earned the team's Overall Achievement Award.

As a junior (2016-17)
• Swam on relay teams that set school records in both the 200 medley and 200 free.
• Anchored the 200 medley team that crushed the previous record of by more than second in winning the Akron Zippy Invitational with a 1:26.44.
• Led off the 200 free relay that shaved 0.82 off the previous mark with a 1:19.09.
• Part of four other relay teams that posted top four times in school history in 2016-17.
• Finished in the top 10 in the 50 free at the Ivy League championships
• Won the 50 free in a dual meet against Columbia and the 100 free at St. Bonaventure.

As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Became the second Cornell swimmer to go under 20 seconds in the 50 free, with his 19.67 time in the event going under the 19.84 record time of Randy Sprout at the 1986 NCAA championships that saw him finish sixth nationally.
• The mark was good for third at the Ivy meet and an NCAA B cut time.
• Was part of four school record-setting relay teams (200 free, 400 free, 200 medley, 400 medley).
• Brenneman led off both the 200 and 400 free and 400 medley races at the Ivy championships and anchored the 200 medley.
• He also scored in the 100 free and the 100 fly.
• Shared the Hardest Worker Award for the swimmers.
• Had the team’s top times in the 50 (19.67) and 100 free (44.19) and the second-fastest mark in the 100 fly (48.08).
• Elected captain for the 2016-17 campaign.

As a freshman (2014-15)
• Part of the squad that competed at the Ivy League Championship, scoring in the 100 fly and also swimming the 50 and 100 free.
• Posted career-best times in the 50 free and 100 fly at the meet.
• Had six top three individual dual meet finishes during the season, including taking first in the 100 fly against Binghamton and at the tri-meet with Penn and Princeton.
• Brenneman posted top 10 finishes in three events at the Bomber Invitational.

Prior to Cornell
• A two-time district champion and district record holder in the 100 free, Brenneman earned a bronze medal at the state championships in the event while at Cumberland Valley HS.
• He was named an All-America selection in the 100 fly as a junior and senior and captured scholastic All-America accolades as well.
• Brenneman set school records in both the 100 fly and 100 free and was named a Sentinel All-Star as a senior and to the Patriot News Big 12 team his junior campaign.
• While swimming for the West Shore YMCA, Brennemen was a national qualifier and the state champion in the 100 fly.

Personal
• Jack Casey Brenneman is the son of Keith and Cheryl Brenneman and has an older brother.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
