At Cornell
James Keady returns for his junior season after a successful sophomore campaign. He earned the team's second-best time in the 50 freestyle and third-best time in the 100 butterfly last season. In addition, he contributed valuable points during the season, earning wins in the 50 freestyle vs. both Binghamton and Yale and the 100 butterfly vs. Columbia.
At Darien
Captain of his swim team at Darien HS, James Keady was a three-time state champion in the 50 and 100 free. He received All-America honors as both a junior and a senior and was also named a YMCA All-American.
Personal
James K. Keady is the son of Kevin and Barbara Keady, and he has one older sister and one younger brother and one younger sister. He is enrolled in Cornell's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
