Biography
At Cornell
Champagne has demonstrated a strong work ethic and great team attitude over his time at Cornell. His dedication to his training has led to his time drops. Champagne had a great 100 fly this past season in our dual meet against Brown, where he went a best time of 51.60.
At Tatnall
Serving twice as captain of his swim team at the Tatnall School, Jonathan Champagne is a two-time All-State and five-time All-Conference award winner. As well as a conference championship, his team placed third at the Delaware state championships. Champagne also competed in track where he was a 4x100 meter-relay school record holder.
Personal
Jonathan Champagne is the son of Leon and Linda Champagne, and he has one older brother and one older sister. He is enrolled in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
