Biography
At Cornell
Although Zollo was on the Ivy team his freshman year, he had his real breakthrough perfomance at the Ivy Championships his sophomore year when he finaled on the 1-meter board. Zollo's ability to rise to the occasion at meets is what sets him apart. His junior year he made the consolation final on both the 1 and 3 meter boards. Zollo will be aiming for his best finishes yet as he enters his senior year for the Big Red.
Prior to Cornell
Jonathan Zollo was a member of the Victor Senior High School swimming team for four years. He was an All-American diver in 2009 and was a recipient of the 2009 Section V Sportsmanship Award. He was a three-time Section V champion (2007, 2008, 2009) and placed a career high fifth place at the NYSPHSAA Championship.
Personal
Jonathan James Zollo is the son of Michael and Heather and he has two brothers. He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
