As a junior (2014-15)
• Bremer did not compete for the Big Red as a junior.

As a sophomore (2013-14)
• Bremer was the hardest worker recipient at the team banquet his sophomore year and continues to demonstrate a positive attitude on a daily basis at practice.
• He swam Cornell best times in the December meet at Ithaca College, however illness restricted him from participating at championships.

As a freshman (2012-13)
• Bremer’s work ethic was evident after battling back from an illness midway through his freshman year to reach best times at the end of the 2013 season.
• With a healthy season ahead, Bremer has the potential to make a positive impact on the lineup.

Prior to Cornell
• Bremer was a four-time all-conference and all-county selection at Severn School, earning Annapolis Capital-Gazette Swimmer of the Year as a senior.
• He was a four-year letter winner while swimming both the butterfly and IM.
• While swimming club for the Severna Park YMCA, Bremer was a 12-time Maryland state champion and was Maryland Swimmer of the Year.
• He served as team captain and was a three-time USA Swimming scholastic All-American.

Personal
• John Stuart Bremer II is the son of John and Gayle Bremer and has an older sister.
• His grandfather, James Bremer, played fullback for the Green Bay Packers in the 1950s.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
