As a junior (2015-16)
• Competed in six dual meets as a freshman in the breaststroke, butterfly and IM events.
• Placed second in the 200 breast in the dual meet win over Colgate.
• Placed third in the 200 IM against Brown.
• Posted the team’s fifth-fastest time of the season in the 400 IM (4:10.07).
As a sophomore (2014-15)
• One of the team’s most consistent breaststrokers who also excels in the IM.
• Part of the Ivy League Championship team, scoring in the 400 IM and the 200 breast.
• Had the team’s fastest time in the 400 IM and the fourth-fastest time in the 200 breast.
• Won both the 200 and 400 IM and the 200 breast at Ithaca’s Bomber Invitational
.
As a freshman (2013-14)
• Berger had a strong freshman year, scoring points at the Ivy championship meet in both the 400 IM and 100 breaststroke.
• He added depth to the breaststroke group throughout the season and brings a good attitude to practice every day.
Prior to Cornell
• Berger was a three-year USA Swimming Scholastic All-American at Weston HS.
• A two-time High School All-American candidate, he was a seven-time state champion and a 13-time all-state pick.
• Berger was a state and conference record holder and a four-time team MVP and was a part of two state championship teams.
• While swimming for the Wilton Y Wahoos club team, he was the 2009 long course men’s team and the 2013 long course and short course men’s team national champions.
Personal
• Jordan Francis Berger is the son of Bruce and Hilary Berger and has an older sister and a younger brother and sister.
• Berger is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
