2025-26 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Lowered his own Cornell record in the 50 freestyle to 19.45 while qualifying for the championship final at the Ivy League Championships … competed on Cornell’s fifth-place 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle, 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams at the Ivy League Championships … finished fifth in the 100 freestyle at the Zippy Invitational with a time of 44.77 … helped Cornell win the 400 freestyle relay against Brown … continued to play a leading role in the Big Red’s sprint events and contribute in dual meets throughout the season.

2024-25 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Broke Cornell’s nine-year-old school record in the 50 freestyle with a time of 19.63 … competed at the Ivy League Championships as a member of Cornell’s fourth-place 200 freestyle relay … helped the Big Red finish third in the 200 freestyle relay at the Zippy Invitational … established himself as a key contributor to Cornell’s sprint group in his first collegiate season.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Toothman swam four years for Saint Ignatius High School … a four-time state qualifier … a Toyota US Open qualifier.

PERSONAL
Josh Toothman is the son of Debra and James Toothman, and has one older brother … enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
