Cornell University Athletics

As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Posted the ninth-fastest time in school history in the 200 free, finishing 20th overall (1:39.96) at the 2016 Ivy League Championship.
• Led off the 800 free relay team that posted the seventh-fastest time at Cornell (6:42.45).
• Won four individual dual meet races during the season.
• Took home 100 free titles against Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth and Harvard.
• Stood atop the podium in the 50 and 200 free races at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.

As a freshman (2014-15)
• Competed in one dual meet, swimming the 100 free and 100 fly against Columbia.
• Placed sixth in the 100 free against the Lions. 

Prior to Cornell
• Ma competed in the national competition for teenagers in the 50 and 100 fly, and 50 and 100 free while attending Beijing Yuying School.

Personal
• Yuxuan Ma is the son of Ma Hong and Liu Tongyan.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
