As a senior (2016-17)
• Scored for the Big Red in the 100 and 200 breast and the 400 IM at the Ivy League championship.
• Won the C final in both the 100 and 200 breast events.
• Graduates with the sixth-fastest time in school history in the 200 breast (2:01.48) and the 10th-fastest in the 100 breast (55.77).
• Placed second in the 200 breast and third in the 100 breast in the dual meet win at St. Bonaventure.
As a junior (2015-16)
• Scored in the 100 and 200 breast races at the 2016 Ivy League Championship, finishing 20th in each.
• Won the 200 breast in a dual meet win over Binghamton and claimed the title in the same event at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
• Had the team’s third-fastest times in both breaststroke events.
• Posted career-best times in the 200 breast and 100 IM during the year.
As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Sosinsky scored for the Big Red in the 100 and 200 breast and the 400 IM at the Ivy League Championships.
• Had the team’s third-fastest time in the 200 breast during the season and the second-fastest in the 400 IM.
• Posted four top three individual finishes in dual meet competitions.
• Placed second in the 200 breast at the Bomber Invitational, as well as a second against Colgate.
As a freshman (2013-14)
• Sosinsky added depth to our breaststroke lineup throughout the dual meet season.
• He is a hard worker and looks to train hard over the summer and come into his sophomore year with good momentum.
Prior to Cornell
• Sosinsky was a three-time NISCA All-America in the 100 breast at Kamiak HS.
• An NISCA Scholastic All-American, he was a high school record holder in the 100 breast and captured two state titles in the event.
• He posted the eighth-fastest 100 breast time in state history.
• While swimming for the Bellevue Club swim team, Sosinsky qualified for junior nationals in two events and for winter nationals in one.
• He was the club’s record holder in the 200 breast and served as team captain.
Personal
• Liam Meyer Sosinsky is the son of Bill and Colleen Sosinsky and has a younger sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
