As a senior (2016-17)
• Named the team's Hardest Worker Award after swimming on four school-record setting relay teams during the season (200 free, 400 free, 200 medley, 400 medley).
• Graduates ranked among the top 10 swimmers in the 50 free (sixth, 20.18), 100 free (seventh, 44.53), 100 back (sixth, 49.07) and 100 fly (third, 47.90) and as part of four school record-setting relay teams.
• Anchored both the 200 and 400 free and 400 medley races at the Ivy championships and swam the third leg of the 200 medley.
• Scored individually in the 100 free with the eighth-fastest time in school history (44.59).
• Took 10th in the 100 butterfly in 48.23
• Had seven top three individual finishes on the year.
• Garnered great experience prior to the season at the U.S. Olympic Trials, placing 94th out of more than 130 swimmers with a time of 55.17.
As a junior (2015-16)
• Earned the team’s Hardest Worker Award after swimming on four school-record setting relay teams during the season (200 free, 400 free, 200 medley, 400 medley).
• Anchored both the 200 and 400 free and 400 medley races at the Ivy championships
• Swam the third leg of the 200 medley.
• Scored individually in the 100 free with the eighth-fastest time in school history (44.59).
• Named tri-captain for the 2016-17 campaign.
As a sophomore (2014-15)
• Did not compete.
As a freshman (2013-14)
• Reisch has showed tremendous improvements as a freshman in 2014 and has continued that improvement in the offseason.
• He was a key player in many dual meets, picking up valuable points in the 200 backstroke.
• Reisch will look to carry his momentum into his sophomore season.
Prior to Cornell
• Reisch won a sectional title in the 200 free and was the runner-up in the 200 IM and 500 free at Geneva HS.
• A two-year all-league pick, he was fifth in the state in the 200 free and ninth in the 100 fly as a senior.
• Reisch was named to the All-Great Rochester team and competed on the varsity team for five years.
Personal
• Lucas Aaron Reisch is the daughter of Bruce and Kim Reisch and has an older brother and sister.
• His parents and brother, Jacob, all attended Cornell.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
