Cornell University Athletics

As a senior (2015-16)
• Finished 12th in the 1-meter at the 2016 Ivy League Championships with a score of 265.60.
• Won the 3-meter competition in a dual meet with Colgate and finished second in the 1-meter against both the Raiders and Brown.

As a junior (2014-15)
• Qualified for and finished 16th at the NCAA Zone Championships on the 1-meter board, placing in the top five all-time at Cornell with his score of 271.80.
• Had four top three finishes in dual meets during the season.
• Scored in both diving competitions at the Ivy League Championships, finishing as high as 15th in the 1-meter.
• Posted career high scores in both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions against Columbia and finished second overall in the 1-meter.
• Won the 3-meter competition against Binghamton.

As a sophomore (2013-14)
• McCoy saw competition in dual meets against Boston College and Brown, in tri-meets between Harvard and Dartmouth and Penn and Princeton and at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational as a sophomore in 2013-14.

As a freshman (2012-13)
• He competed in three duals and the 2012-13 Ithaca College Invitational, placing ninth in the 1-meter dive as an exhibition (380.90).

Prior to Cornell
• McCoy competed in both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions in each of the last three seasons at USA Diving's summer region championships.
• He also competed a tthe Junior Zone A meet in 2011.
• McCoy competed for the Alexandria Dive Club for four years.

Personal
• Matthew Woodson McCoy is the son of Scott and Susan McCoy and has an older sister.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
