As a senior (2017-18)
• Graduated ranked second all-time in the 1,000 and 1,650 free and third in the 500.
• Scored in all three distance free events at the Ivy League Championship.
• Placed 16th in the mile, 20th in the 1,000 and was 24th in the 500.
• Won the 500 free against MIT and the 1,000 free vs. St. Bonaventure.
• Earned a second-place finish in the 1,650 free and a third-place podium finish in the 500 at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.

As a junior (2016-17)
• Placed 10th in the 1,650 free (15:31.43) and the 1,000 free (9:11.79) at the Ivy League Championship, both just off career-best times.
• Had five top three event finishes on the season, including winning the 500 free in the dual meet win at St. Bonaventure.
• Took second in the mile at the Akron Zippy Invitational.
• Posted career-best times in the 50, 100 and 200 free as well as the 50 back.

As a sophomore (2015-16)
• Posted the team's top times in the 500, 1,000 and 1,650 free races.
• Scored in all three events at the Ivy League Championships, all distance freestyle.
• Finished 12th in the 1,000 free (9:12.31).
• Placed 16th in the mile (15:33.97) and 18th in the 500 free (4:27.81).
• Won the 1,000 free in a dual meet against Colgate.
• Was second in both the 500 and 1,000 free races against Brown.

As a freshman (2014-15)
• Spent the season as the team’s top distance freestyler.
• His times in the 500 (third, 4:25.04), 1000 (second, 9:08.03) and 1650 (second, 15:22.73) free events each rank in the top three all-time at Cornell.
• His time in the 1650 free at the Ivy meet met the NCAA B cut standard.
• Scored in all three events at the Ivy League Championships, finishing as high as seventh in the 1000 free.
• Topped the field in both the 500 and the 1000 free against Dartmouth and Harvard, as well as in a dual meet with Columbia.

Prior to Cornell
• Sweezer won two HS state titles in the 200 and 500 freestyle while competing at Nation Ford HS.
• Earned three USA Swimming’s Scholastic All-American awards.
• While swimming for his club team the Upper Palmetto YMCA RAYS, Sweezer won multiple state titles and qualified for both winter and summer junior nationals. 
• He made USA Swimming’s top 10 list in distance events from ages 12-15 and made the all-time top 100 list in the 1650.
• Sweezer was a YMCA national qualifier since the age of 12 at both the long and short course meets and was a national finalist nine years running.
• Sweezer won the YMCA national championship title in the 1500 event during the summer of 2014.

Personal
• Brandon Alan Sweezer is the son of Bobette Sweezer and the late William Sweezer and has a younger brother.
• He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
