Biography
At Cornell
Truong's ability to focus at meets has made him a force to be reckoned with throughout the league. As a freshman, he qualified for the NCAA zone championship competition at his first dual meet. He was also the top freshman diver at Ivys placing fourth on both boards. Truong carried his momentum into his sophomore year and became the team's highest scorer at Ivys. We will look for him to increase the degree of difficulty of his dives to continue improving and help the team both at dual meets and at the championships.
At Fordham Preparatory School
Truong was a school-record holding diver at Fordham Preparatory School. He was part of four league championship teams.
Personal
Phillip Truong is the son of Minh and Mandy Truong. He is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
