2023-24 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Swam in all nine meets for the Big Red alongside the Zippy Invitational and Ivy League Championship ... opened the season by sweeping the 100 (45.95) and 200 (1:40.77) Freestyles against Binghamton before following that up with the 200 Backstroke and 200 Freestyle vs. St. Bonaventure ... grabbed second over in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:47.60 and was the first swimmer in the pool for Cornell's bronze placing in the 400 Freestyle Relay against Harvard and Dartmouth ... finished second in the 200 Backstroke against Penn and Princeton ... logged 61 points for the Big Red at the Zippy Invite, headlined by a runner-up finish in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:43.76 ... nabbed first in the 200 Backstroke (1:47.17) against Yale and 200 Freestyle (1:40.06) against Columbia ... closed regular season with individual pool record in 200 Freestyle (1:37.43) and was the first swimmer in Cornell's record swim of 2:55.97 in the 400 Freestyle Relay ... earned 48 points at Ivy Championships, including a bronze in the 200 Backstroke (1:41.96) which was also a program record ... had a team-best 1:35.66 split as the first swimmer to lead Cornell to a program record time of 6:26.55 in the 800 Freestyle. 

2022-23 l FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed in all seven meets for Cornell in his debut season ... appeared in the Ivy League Championship for the 200-Yard Backstroke ... opened his college career with two podium finishes, first taking a second-place finish in the 200-Yard Freestyle, followed by a first-place finish in the 200-Yard Backstroke against St. Bonaventure ... finished third in the Ivy League Championship in the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:42.66 ... earned 12 points for Cornell against Yale thanks to a first-place finish in the 200-Yard Backstroke and a third-place finish in the 100-Yard Backstroke ... brought in a third-place finish in the 200-Yard Backstroke against Columbia, the highest Cornell finisher ... secured second in the 200-Yard Backstroke against Brown ... against Binghamton, won the 400-Yard IM and came in third in the 100-Yard Backstroke ... earned 49 points for the Big Red at the Zippy Invitational as well as being a part of the 800-Yard Freestyle Relay team to a third place overall finish ... finished third in the 200-Yard Backstroke at Zippy with a time of 1:44.83.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Competed at the club level in swimming as part of the Italy junior team at the European Juniors ... silver medalist at the British Nationals ... played setter for his high school volleyball team.

Pietro Ruggero Ubertalli is the son of Niccolo Ubertalli and Francesca Carlesi, and has one brother ... enrolled in the College of Engineering.
