Biography
As a senior (2019-20)
• Competed in five meets during senior campaign.
• Qualified for the B Final of the 100-breaststroke at the Zippy Invitational, finishing 14th in 56.98.
• Won the C Final of the 200-breaststroke at the Zippy Invitational, finishing 17th in a personal-best 2:06.79.
• Captured a season-best in the 100-breaststroke in an Ivy League dual against Brown, placing fifth with a time of 56.85.
• Also placed fifth in 100-breaststroke races against St. Bonaventure and Binghamton.
As a junior (2018-19)
• Runner-up in the 100 breast with a time of 56.60 against Brown.
• Also finished seventh in the 200 breast against Brown.
• Placed fourth in the 100 breast against St. Bonaventure.
• Achieved four personal best times during the season.
As a sophomore (2017-18)
• Competed in four dual meets, as well as the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
• Finished third in the 100 breast against Brown.
As a freshman (2016-17)
• Swam in seven meets for the Big Red with seven top 10 swims.
• Was runner-up in the 100 breast at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational.
• Was third in the 200 breast and the 50 free at the Bomber Invite.
• Had a pair of top five efforts against Brown, finishing fourth in the 200 breast and fifth in the 100 breast.
• Swam the fourth-fastest times on the team in both breaststroke events.
Prior to Cornell
• Graff was a USA Swimming high school All-American at Pine Crest School.
• Was a three-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
• Two-time team captain was also a tw0-time team MVP.
• Named to the Miami Herald first-team all-county squad as a senior.
• Led team to a state runner-up finish in 2015.
• Was a two-time winter Junior Olympic national qualifier for Pine Crest Swimming.
Personal
• Ryan Oliver Graff is the son of Alan and Amy Graff and has two older sisters and an older brother.
• His sister, Lindsay, was a four-year member of the Princeton tennis team.
• He is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
